RONNIE ROMERO (Rainbow, Elegant Weapons, x-MSG) and Guitar Wizard GUS G. (Firewind, X-Ozzy Osbourne)

together with a band on stage! That makes metal hearts beat faster!

RONNIE & GUS released their first joint song “My Premonition”, just before the European “Covergence — Tour” in October 2025. The single and tour were a huge success. Fans and media couldn't believe what musical fireworks were set off and what an unbelievably positive vibe swept from the stage to the audience. You tube video “Convergence Tour Road Movie 2025”:

RONNIE ROMERO is certainly considered one of the best classic rock singers. Whether with Ritchie BLACKMORE's RAINBOW, or as frontman of the MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, Ronnie always manages to inspire rock fans with his incredibly strong and extraordinary voice. He also works with Elegant Weapons, the heavy metal supergroup led by guitarist Richie Faulkner from Judas Priest, and is of course on tour with his own band.

RONNIE ROMERO released his first solo album “Too many Lies Too many Masters” (Frontiers) in summer 2023. His second solo album “Backbone” (Frontiers) was released in October 2025. Ronnie wrote some of the songs together with Russ Ballard. “Backbone” receives excellent reviews all over the world.

GUS G.

The guitarists Ozzy Osbourne has worked with in his long solo career are very impressive. Randy Rhoads, Brad Gillis, Jake E. Lee, and Zakk Wylde. Whenever the “Prince of Darkness” named a new “Guitar Wizzard”, the metal world stood still for a moment and listened... In 2009/2010 for the Ozzy album “Scream”, the associated world tour and other shows, the new guitarist was called GUS G.

After Gus left Ozzy's band in 2017, he focused on his power metal band FIREWIND and his solo career. GUS G released 10 albums with FIREWIND, the latest album “Stand United” (2024, AFM) is a great success and entered the metal charts worldwide.

GUS G has released four solo albums so far, Am The Fire (2014), Brand New Revolution (2015), and Fearless (2018), all a mix of instrumentals and songs with guest singers. He wrote the 4th solo album “Quantum Leap” (AFM Records, 2021) during the pandemic and can be described as an instrumental masterpiece. The album received great reviews and is named in the same breath as STEVE Vai's “Passion and Warfare” and JOE Satriani's “Surfing with the Alien”. Gus's new solo album will be released in April 2026.

What to expect from the Convergence Fest tour? Ronnie and his band will play a mix of his two solo albums for 45 minutes. Gus G then takes the stage with his rhythm section and performs the best of his solo catalog and his new solo album for 45 minutes.

Ronnie then joins for a 60-minute encore, which starts with some new joint songs that will be released in summer 2026. The show ends with classic hits from Rainbow, Dio, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne.

There won't be anyone in the room who isn't completely freaked out on this killer setlist!!
