Nikolaus Herdieckerhoff on cello tells the somewhat different Little Red Riding Hood story, in which the story of the terrible wolf becomes a terribly funny story in which all moods on the cello find a virtuoso counterpart.
On a sunny summer day, the cheerful Little Red Riding Hood meets the deceitful wolf. When he hears that she is on her way to visit her grandmother, he decides that today there should be grandmother for the main course and Little Red Riding Hood as an appetizer. But then he discovers the old lady's nightgown, slips into it — and the role reversal is perfect. But the door foolishly shuts when he greedily looks for the little girl. Here, the old material is loosely tailored into a book of encouragement with extended fairy tale staff. Nikolaus Herdieckerhoff also makes the strings of his cello vibrate so that it is a great joy.
