About the event

GROWTH/FLOURISHING? FOREST or JUNGLE? Or maybe a bouquet vs rabatki?

Is the painting of nature a path to one's interior, a delineation of new solutions, or a path to oblivion? Are plants similar to humans? After all, they need water, they have veins, sometimes they like the sun and each other to grow. Like us.

Phytosociology has two blades. Botanical and social. Growing in a community of people, or plants between beds, can have similar dilemmas. What does Marta Garbaczewska face when painting her paintings in this way? The Guillotine Gallery invites you to a decisive afternoon and a series of, I assure you, interesting answers.

This time, together with the Artist, we are preparing an exhibition that will perfectly fit into the already green space of the KANY Meadow. Or maybe even improve it a little, because the work
will grow throughout the winter, supporting the Meadow with additional plant species.

I invite you to a botanical journey through the phytosociological soul of Marta Garbaczewska. A painter by nature and naturally authentic provocateur of the work of her, undoubtedly extremely capable, wards.
