ENTERTAINING WALK THROUGH THE THEATER guided tour

Have you ever been tempted to sneak behind the curtain in the middle of a break in a performance and wander around the back room? Stick your nose in the script, hit a high five with the detective, rummage through the costumes?

Such things only on your own responsibility - in the heat of the fight, the backstage is like a cross between an escape room and a house of fears - no matter which door opens, someone will talk to themselves.

But don't worry — it's not like it's always scary here. When the lights go out, the dust of the curtain falls and the echo of applause subsides, the hastily collected props compose their own stories, unknown dramas unfold in the familiar scenery, feathers quietly tear off the hats and sequins stick to the corsets.

We will gladly show you this strange yet enchanting land — we will take you to a place where everyday life becomes unusual, where the black rectangle of the stage takes the form of a palace building, where Michael Dorsey is the same person as Dorothy Michaels (vide Tootsie), where everything is still waking, and basically already a dream.

We will show what its topography says about the theater (it says a lot), we will tell about the work of a costume designer, set designer, make-up artist, we will show where the actors sleep while waiting for their entrance, we will drop a couple of slogans in theatrical jargon, and for the departed a few anecdotes and gossip.

All this within the framework of cyclical walks through the theater facilities — with a guide, in an intimate atmosphere, with a ticket for a symbolic PLN 10.
