Krzysztof Kędziora's ruby mating is a story about marriage, about love, about a changing world... Grażyna and Marian celebrate the fortieth anniversary of marriage, that is, ruby mating. The daughter gives them a weekend in a luxury hotel as a gift. And they, in these luxuries, are not able to orient themselves in superdeveloped technology - they do not know how to turn on the light, open the door... Problems with technology the couple has, but otherwise they are cheerful, good people, albeit somewhat different. She is full of verve, full of desire to explore this unusual world for a ruby couple, he is an average Pole who prefers the newspaper, beer, television, but both are somewhere in the middle full of feelings, devotion, love. And they show us that love does not grow old...

But it's not just about love in art - Ruby Mating is also a mocking tale of politics and politicians. A representative of this class (or caste?) manifests itself suddenly... very suddenly and very strangely. His appearance is the opening of another story — about the values we encounter every day. Not just in the theater and not in the theater in the first place. Both stories — about love and politics — are connected by Danny, the hotel boy. But is Danny just a boy?
