About the event
Some careers are created overnight. RØRY's is the exact opposite. For years, the British singer fought against setbacks, personal crises and her own past before becoming one of the most extraordinary voices on the modern rock scene. At the beginning of 2027, RØRY is coming to Germany for four concerts. Since the success of their debut album “RESTORATION” (2025), RØRY has been one of the most exciting artists on the British alternative and rock scene. The album reached the top 10 in the British charts at the beginning of 2025 and marked the preliminary peak of a remarkable development. With sold-out headline tours, a steadily growing fan community and the “Breakthrough UK Artist” award at the Heavy Music Awards, she has established herself as a fixture in modern rock. But instead of seeing success as an end point, it became the starting point for RØRY to ask new questions. These also shape their second album “BLOODLETTING” (release: 04.09.2026), which deals with topics such as loss, anger, transience and the search for meaning. While “RESTORATION” told of survival, healing and new beginnings, “BLOODLETTING” focuses on the contradictions that remain even when all dreams have supposedly come true. Musically, RØRY is more versatile and uncompromising than ever before. Together with her long-time collaborators Kingdoms and producer and mixer Dan Lancaster, known for his work with Bring Me The Horizon and Muse, she consistently developed her sound. She took singing lessons for the first time and also integrated screams into her music to express emotions that could not be conveyed with clear singing alone. Songs like “DEGRADATION” and “MORTAL” are among the hardest pieces of their career so far, while tracks such as “GREY”, “SWALLOW” and “STRANGE” deal with personal and family conflicts with great openness. At the same time, the album is marked by the death of her friend and companion Miles Kent, who was originally involved in the development of the harder sound. His illness and subsequent death left significant marks on the album and give many songs another facet of urgency. Despite all its severity, “BLOODLETTING” is not an album of hopelessness. Rather, it revolves around the question of what makes life worth living — and finds a surprisingly hopeful answer to it. Anyone who experiences RØRY live can look forward to intensive, honest and emotionally charged concerts that go far beyond classic rock shows. In January 2027, RØRY will demonstrate its energy at four concerts in Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. The tour is presented by Messed! Up Magazine and Frontstage Magazine
