The Salt Trail

After losing their home and livelihood, a married couple impulsively embarks on a thousand-mile hike along the southwest English coast, a hike greatly complicated by the husband's recent diagnosis with a life-threatening illness. Raynor (Gillian Anderson) and Moth (Jason Isaacs) have run out of time, money and hope. They have been forced out of the B&B that was supposed to support their pensioner lives, with nowhere to go. Powerless, they decide to walk off the so-called Salt Path along the English coast - from Dorset to Somerset. To escape an existential crisis or embark on one last adventure? Or both? The film is based on Raynor Winn's popular bestseller.
