Sandra Hüller & Jens Harzer read Kleist

In the reading of Heinrich von Kleist's historic knights' play, Sandra Hüller and Jens Harzer meet as Käthchen and Graf Wetter vom Strahl. They explore the paths that a shared dream seems to set out for the two characters and use extraordinary language skills to delve into the tragicomic depths of the piece. Sandra Hüller and Jens Harzer, who have already played Kleist's “Penthesilea” together in a highly acclaimed production by Johan Simons, are once again dedicated to their favorite poet with “Käthchen von Heilbronn.” The concept was commissioned by the Kleist Museum Foundation, Frankfurt (Oder) and can now be seen on the stage of the Berlin Ensemble.
