A safe and exciting sensory experience for the little ones!

About the event

In a sensory room surrounded by colorful curtains printed with nature's own shapes, Franz and Debbie welcome the little ones to a safe and exciting sensory experience.
All around in small and large suitcases there are tactile secrets of nature, and we unpack one by one. We must listen to them, notice them, smell them and examine them more closely.
What does it sound like when you rustle with plant seeds? What does sheep's wool smell like? Can you play music on a potted plant? What do pine cones smell like when they get wet? Is it possible to draw with the help of nature? And what does parsley really taste like?

09.30-10.05 for the 1-3-year-olds (reserved for nursery school children) and again 10.30-11.05 for the 2-4-year-olds (reserved for preschoolers).

The workshop will be hosted by musician and illustrator Franz Bomberg and textile artist Debbie Kathrine Sørensen. They are affiliated with Solvang Library in 2026 for the project Naturens Fantasia/Fantasiens natura, which has received support from the Amager Vest Local Committee, the Nordea Foundation and the children's cultural funds.
