Saturday Talks: Natalia Grabowska on Justin Caguiat: Change Ringing

Natalia Grabowska, Curator at Large, Architecture and Site-Specific Projects, leads a tour of Justin Caguiat: Change Ringing.

Justin Caguiat (b. 1989, Tokyo, Japan) is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the relationship between architecture, spirituality and the rituals embedded within everyday urban infrastructure. Change Ringing brings together painting, sculpture, printmaking, sound and film in a site-responsive multimedia installation. Caguiat explores the relationship between devotion, architecture and materiality, considering how buildings accumulate memory through ritual and transformation.

BSL interpretation is available on request for all our Saturday Talks. Please get in touch at [email protected] if you would like to request this.
