Literature and music reflect the world and life: sensual, exciting, inspiring. In our new series Sentence Changes, we bring both forms of art together. Together with the Berlin International Literature Festival, we invite renowned authors to the Chamber Music Hall three times a season. They read from current works and, in conversation, provide insights into their work and thinking. There is also the dialogue with music. Members of the Berliner Philharmoniker contribute chamber music, which broadens and deepens the theme of the evening.
In the second issue of the series, we welcome Saša Stanišić, one of the most fascinating writers of our time. His works have been translated into more than forty languages and have received numerous awards.
