Tenor Mark Padmore joins Bjarke Mogensen on the accordion to perform Schubert's Winterise song-cycle.
About the event
Composed in 1827 and first performed privately for members of Schubert’s circle, Winterreise initially received a mixed reception. Today, it is recognised as one of the greatest song cycles ever written. Join internationally acclaimed tenor Mark Padmore next February, as he performs this iconic work with accompaniment from Danish accordionist Bjarke Mogensen.
