Visiting the immersive panorama by artist Yorleny Cardozo Peña, you will experience the flora and fauna of the Colombian mountain range as well as guardian figures that are thousands of years old.
In an artistic laboratory, you will then research the superpowers of animals, look at insects and plants with magnifying glasses and microscopes, learn about the vital importance of biodiversity and design your own, three-dimensional protective system.
The workshop was created as part of a collaboration between the Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e Historia (ICANH) and ComUse, the Collaborative Museum at the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art in Berlin. The drop-in workshop aims to empower children to discover their own “superpowers” so as not to feel powerless in the face of climate change and species extinction.
