Suspiria

USA, Italy, 2018, 146'
directed by Luca Guadagnino

Berlin, 1977, divided by a wall and shaken by a wave of terrorist attacks. A young American girl, Susie Bannion (Dakota Johnson), arrives at the famous dance school to join a team led by choreographer Madame Blanc (Tilda Swinton). Her talent quickly attracts attention - but the school hides a dark secret: one of the dancers, Patricia (Chloë Grace Moretz), disappears without a trace just before Susie arrives. Another dancer, Sara (Mia Goth), decides to find out what happened to her, and discovers that the school's teachers have a relationship with something far more dangerous than dancing. Guadagnino transforms Daria Argento's cult horror into a hypnotic, carnal tale of power and female community.

Awards: Independent Spirit Awards - Best Pictures (Sayombhu Mukdeeprom); Robert Altman Award for the entire acting team.
