Malachy Orozco presents
Not quite scenes and not quite poems, a series of automythological meditations on memory, distance, identity and otherness.
One morning, I woke up and I didn't know who I was. I felt free. Then I remembered.
This is a series of short, formal works for theatre. Not quite scenes and not quite poems, each work looks at an aspect of theatre: video, light, audio, text, rhythm.
Loosely draped over this framework are themes of memory, distance and identity. In a time where being ‘someone’ seems important, what would it mean to be no one?
