Selfie, or love at a glance!

What can result from the encounter of two neighboring residents of a large block of flats, overcome by a crisis of loneliness? In one lives Brigida, a militant single woman with a daughter, and in the other, Gerard, a single father disillusioned with women. They both cherish stereotypes until the affairs of the heart of their adult children make them come out of the trenches and come face to face with their own prejudices.

Julia — Brigida's thirty-year-old daughter — has a library of books instead of Facebook and has never taken a selfie. Her attempts at dating so far have burned on her acetabulum, despite her mom's best efforts. Similarly, Gerard, convinced that his son deserves real affection, tries to push him into the dating market before the youngster completely plunges into the routine of a big-city blockbuster. When Gerard's paternal concern intersects with Brigid's maternal determination, a web of petty, online misunderstandings drag both parents and their children into a comical spiral in which every like and every pic leads to growing misunderstandings.

“Selfie” is a twist-filled comedy about how easy it is to fall into the traps of your own prejudices and how difficult it is to get out of them without a little laugh.
