99 High Holborn, London WC1V 6LF, London

Selina is coming back to Holborn again, this time debuting a brand-new Christmas project! Entitled "Christmas Don’t Be Late,” this EP also features American vocalist-composer JoDavi, and explores some of the challenges that come with the holiday season — mainly grief and loss, but also the hope that comes with each year. JoDavi will fly into London for the occasion, so prepare your ears! Selina’s soulful, angelic, jazz-influenced vocals are the perfect pairing for JoDavi’s blend of gospel, RnB, Afro-soul, reggae, and funk influences. The pair will have limited-edition vinyls for purchase.

Also flying in to join Selina on stage will be Amazon #1 best-selling holiday guitarist, Bryan Lubeck, bringing that signature blend of fiery Spanish guitar and cool urban grooves you may have witnessed during Selina’s residency show earlier this year! He is also releasing a Christmas project called "Welcome Winter," and London’s own will get a special listen during the show. All three will be supported by a full band of geniuses that Selina lovingly calls The Sonic Escape.

A Release Party for TWO Christmas projects in one night? You don’t want to miss this, London!

Selina Albright

Selina Albright style, you'll hear influences of Ella Fitzgerald, Maxwell, Minnie Ripperton, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Amel Larrieux, D'Angelo, Mariah Carey and Dinah Washington. A balanced blend of all of these is the key to her versatility, empowering her to maintain creative flexibility from project to project. Albright's latest single "Dishonest Smile" is currently on the Smooth Jazz and R&B/Soul charts! But this is not her first successful hit. 2010 Jazz single "You and I" was one of iTunes' Top 100 Jazz Downloads. Her 2013 EP "Brighter" topped the UK Soul Chart for four weeks straight, and her 2016 Jazz single "Sun Comes Up" would prime the market for her 2017 debut R&B/Soul CD "Conversations," which put Selina Albright's music on the map internationally. In 2020, she released two number one hit singles "Discovering" and "Holding On."Selina Albright travelled the world on her solo tours and is on a mission to hit key cities that have made it possible for her to realize her dream of traveling the world to spread light and music.

JoDavi

Often referred to as Mr. Maestro, JoDavi fuses his soulful roots with his passion and schooling in orchestration to create live music that many call 'Symphonic Soul;' a sound that likens to Earth Wind and Fire, the 5th Dimension, your favourite movie soundtrack, and his background in gospel, RnB, reggae, and funk.

JoDavi has opened for Grammy award winning artists India Arie, and Anthony Hamilton. He has also backed renowned singer Alex Isley, and has shared stages with Jeremy Passion. As far as his own work goes, JoDavi has released over a dozen albums and singles, including his full length album, Zion, which he has premiered in New York, California, North Carolina, Georgia, and many other parts of the world including Israel, Paris, and South Africa, and his EP, the Vault, which features UK based singer-songwriter, Selina Albright.

Since JoDavi's wife passed away in January of 2025, the overall sound of his music has changed somewhat; the lush Symphonic Soulful sounds are still there, but with more of an influence of a singer-songwriter vibe, not unlike Bill Withers, James Taylor, or Paul Simon. He also has more of an Afro-Soul sound as well, influenced by artists from his late wife's country of origin, South Africa, and other East and West African sounds. This mixed in with his previous work simply provides the listener with an even more robust palette of both music and lyrical content.
