Translation: STANISŁAW BARAŃCZAK
Love does not always have shades of pink and red, and the Athenian forest is not always an innocent green grove. We are closer to Shakespeare in a version that David Lynch could have boldly directed and in which lovers ran on Twin Peaks rather than among moss and ferns. Thus, in a nutshell, another already mesmerizing performance of Jan Klata on the Big Stage of the New Theater could be summarized.
The well-known love story in this shot is underlaid with uncertainty, threat and violence. Here love is not always beautiful, and the forest spirits have unclean intentions...
Will love and goodness prevail? Is Puk one? Will this dream turn out to be... a nightmare? We invite you to an unforgettable show!
