Dream of autumn

Jon Fosse takes us into a space where time loses linearity — everything has already happened, and yet it's happening again and again. The characters wander in the footsteps of their own lives, looking at each other from the perspective of the end. They ask about who they were, who they are and what love, responsibility or transience really means. Their conversations — sometimes ordinary, sometimes awkward — reveal the assumption that the metaphysical is hidden in everyday life, in prosaic human gestures. It is there, in fragility and imperfection, that the fullness of existence is revealed.

“A Dream of Autumn” is a show about how close we can be to each other when we take off our masks and look at life as it was — and how it still continues within us.
