Odysseus (Matt Damon), King of Ithaca, contends with the fate that the gods have pre-ordained for him, as he faces an arduous journey home after a decade at war. Battling the wrath of the gods, monstrous creatures and luscious temptations, Odysseus and his dwindling army embark on a dangerous voyage.
Waiting for him, his long-suffering wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland) face their own battle, to protect his kingdom from grasping suitors, without knowing if he will ever return.
Based on Homer's foundational saga, this is the first time The Odyssey has been told in full on the big screen. With a star-studded cast including Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya and Charlize Theron, Nolan's adaptation will take epic to a whole new level.
