The protagonists of Joanna Szczepkowska's play are two women who probably would never have met if it were not for chance.

Marta and Alina end up in a hospital room designed for one person. None of them wants to step down and leave, because each believes that it is her place in the “one”. Condemned to their companionship — they try to survive until someone comes and decides for them. Differences in characters and views do not make it easy for them to wait, leading to a series of funny misunderstandings.

“Separatka” is a comedy, from the genre of those who, under the guise of a light form, smuggle the penetrating truth about our reality.
