Separatka

The heroines of Joanna Szczepkowska's play are two women who probably would never have met if it were not for chance

Marta and Alina end up in a one-person hospital room. Neither of them intends to give up, because each is convinced that it is her place in the “one”. Sentenced to their companionship, they try to survive until the medical staff settles the dispute. Extreme differences of character and views do not facilitate their expectations, leading to great tensions, a series of funny misunderstandings and unexpected twists and turns.

“Separatka” is a clever satirical comedy that, under the guise of a light form, smuggling the penetrating truth about modern reality and our social divisions.
