Sevens

Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman take on the central roles of investigators in a rain-soaked, nameless metropolis, in search of a serial killer whose brutal crimes are inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins. After a rough start with his debut film 'Alien3', Fincher announced that he would never again direct a feature film and went back to directing music videos for Madonna and Michael Jackson, but when he read the script for 'Se7en', he changed his mind. The film was a huge success with audiences and critics alike and stands as one of the most gut-wrenching films of the 1990s: harsh and unrelenting in its narrative and aesthetically unparalleled.
