S/H x ALICE: White Aunt (AR)

The punk quartet Blanco Teta blends corrosive noiserock, performance and activism in an explosive expression that challenges norms of body, gender and musical form with a distorted cello at the front. Discover them as they play in concert in the stage design for BLACK/HVID's theatre performance BAD MEXICAN DOG for November.

Note: The concert takes place in BLACK/WHITE

Ticket sales start September 18 at 11

Blanco Teta creates an immersive live experience where punk and noise merge and an angry political agenda is channeled into heated discharges and confrontational performance. With an unconventional rock crew without a guitar but with the distorted cello at its center, the band moves between the melodic, the noisy and the physical. Their music is closely associated with a transfeminist practice in which body, gender and identity become a strong part of artistic expression. Blanco Teta has performed at festivals such as Roskilde Festival, Le Guess Who? and Fusion Festival and can now be experienced in the special setting in the scenography for BAD MEXICAN DOG.

BLACK/WHITE x ALICE = friends with benefits

Friends with benefits is the venue for ALICE and BLACK/WHITE in association. On three Fridays, ALICE curates concerts, which play in the scenography for Black/White's performance BAD MEXICAN DOG — a surreal, ritual charter hell based on Jonas Eika's sci-fi short story of the same name from the award-winning short story collection After the Sun. Three international bands are invited to explore the performance's scenography and interpret it through their own musical and performative expressions. The scenography thus becomes more than a background for the concerts — it becomes an active part of the experience, where music, body, ritual and space are intertwined.
