SHE WANTS REVENGE

Venue: Warsaw, Palladium

In 2004, Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin asked themselves, “What would Joy Division sound like when it played more dance music?” This is how the project She Wants Revenge was created, drawing deeply from post-punk, gothic rock and darkwave, but also electroclash. As it turned out, it was a hit: he was quickly snapped up by Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit and signed to his Flawless Records. The first clip, for “These Things”, featured Shirley Manson of Garbage, and the next, for “Tear You Apart”, was directed by Joaquin Phoenix. The latter song peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Alternative Chart, and after the release of their debut album, the group went on tour alongside Depeche Mode and Placebo. It's hard to get a better start!

In the following years of operation, nothing less happened. The group collaborated with Timbaland, and her music made it into films and series. Special fame was brought by “Tear You Apart”, which was included in the series “American Horror Story: Hotel” at the personal request of Lady Gaga. She Wants Revenge features three studio albums, the last of which, “Valleyheart”, was released in 2011. Catching Americans at a concert is not an easy matter, so it is even more worth looking for their return to Poland!
