In this version brilliantly played by Anna Kadulska, an outstanding Silesian actress associated for many years with the Silesian Theater in Katowice, viewers will witness the humorous and touching story of Shirley — a woman who devoted her whole life to her husband, home and cooking planted with potatoes. Her only companion and confidant is the wall of the kitchen room, to which Shirley turns with her innermost thoughts.

One day her life changes when she gets an invitation to a two-week vacation to Greece from a friend. A seemingly impossible dream begins to become a challenge that will raise the question of whether it is worth looking for yourself among new experiences. How will the husband react? Will Shirley decide to travel? And what awaits her on the Greek beach?

Directed by Piotr Wiśniewski, the show is a perfect combination of great acting, unique scenography — authentically recreated English cuisine and Greek beach — and subtle details that will transport viewers into an extraordinary world full of emotion and laughter.
