Join us in Tate Britain’s reading rooms to explore key moments from Tate’s exhibition and displays programme of the 1990s
The 1990s was an exciting time for Tate: this decade saw the launch of the New Displays and Art Now programmes and the continuing controversy of the Turner Prize. We also saw the opening of Tate St Ives, and Tate Liverpool championing community engagement with Anthony Gormley’s work Field for the British Isles.
The Show and Share will begin with a short talk by the Public Records team to introduce the items on display. This will be followed by the opportunity to view documents, posters, publicity and other public records relating to Tate's exhibitions and displays programme.
