Siemienc fun | Kolektyw Rorżowy

The dance will invite us to participate in practical cooperation and explore the subject, which we will learn during the previous lecture by Maciej Filipczuk and short dance workshops (these pre-fun events will take place from 18.00 in the performance hall of the Cultural Workshops).

Siemieniec is a ceremonial dance of a magic-agrarian nature, performed in the woods or on Ash Wednesday. Siemieniec was a parade dance of young men, performed with closed doors and shuttered windows. It had the characteristics of a suffocating rite, a male initiation, a matrimonial market, a dance to harvest cannabis, and sometimes plain fun.

The Ritual Collective will play for the seed fun, consisting of:

prof. Osieł — violin

The Devil — Second Violin

DUŻY ZAPUST — bass
