Silesionists

Year 3025. About 100 astronomical units from Earth.

Engel 15, the first Silesian intergalactic ship, is traversing boundless space, sent on a mission whose stakes may turn out to be greater than anyone imagined. On board it is Captain Erich Knobel and his only companion, the faithful on-board computer Stelina.

In a seemingly empty vessel, everything works as it should. Until the time.

The captain makes a discovery that disrupts the order of the mission and forces him to confront something that cannot be rationally explained. At a distance of one hundred astronomical units from home, in absolute solitude and without the possibility of immediate return, the line between what is real and what is unimaginable begins to blur.

“Silesionauts” is a one-act sci-fi horror set in outer space — a tale of loneliness, fear, and mystery that can lurk where you least expect it. The cosmic void becomes not only a place of action, but also a source of growing tension. The farther from Earth Engel 15 is, the less certain what is happening on board becomes.

The whole was written and realized in the Silesian language, which in “Silesionauts” meets the convention of classic science fiction and horror. The Silesian Godka will therefore sound in a completely new context — in the middle of an intergalactic mission, in a world a thousand years away from ours.

03.10 after the screening, we invite you to a meeting of approx. 20 minutes with the creators of the Silesionauts, which will be led by Alina Moś.

The performance is an etude of the Television Theatre, created on the basis of a single briefcase awarded during the Single Briefcase Competition in Silesia in 2024. The project was financed from the funds of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship as part of a scholarship for people of culture.
