Ideal Bar stands in for gunfire as Daughters of Shame spit sharp-charged stanzas

In a short period of time, the Daughters of Skammer have stood out as one of the most eye-catching names on the Danish live scene with their energetic performances, technically strong flows and incisive lyrics.

During 2026, the young rap group from Aarhus has really gained momentum with concerts at SPOT Festival, Smukfest and as support for KIDD in Poolen, among others. At the SPOT Festival, they gathered around 2,000 audience members, and after the concert Soundvenue wrote:

“One got the feeling of witnessing something great.”

Musically, Daughters of Shame moves within hip hop genres such as drill and trap. Their music is characterised by both humour and edge, which they highlight in a press release as their hallmark and particular weapon in an otherwise male-dominated genre.

The Daughters of Skammerens have at the same time received attention from several of the country's music media, and have been selected for GAFFA's Top 50, as well as highlighted by Soundvenue as one of the 10 Danish hip hop names to watch out for.

With their authentic expression and wild energy, they are ready to make an even bigger impression on the Danish hip hop scene — and this December it is Ideal Bar that stands out.
