Autumn, a mixture of warm sun rays and morning frost on lawns... Is there anything more beautiful at this time of year than ice crystals creeping among red and red branches? What if you could just stop that view and take it home?
We invite you to a creative workshop where you will embroider, paint, thread and sew!
Show everyone how you see the wind, the clouds and the autumn aura. You will choose your favorite colors and motifs, and later transfer them to wooden hooks. Cordons and threads, lace, ribbons, sequins and glass beads are the building blocks for your projects. We will add to them the magical little things brought from the Piłsudski garden: natural leaves, grasses and feathers, to capture in these autumn decorations everything that the gust of the October wind brings with it. You can give your personal versions of “dream catchers” hidden symbolism, sew wishes and dreams into them, and thus create amulets that bring peace and protect from the frosty evenings of the coming winter.
We will spend creative time with hot tea and chat in a friendly — as always — group. Arrive! We are waiting for you!
• Number of places limited: 12
• We meet in the cloakroom, in the lobby of the Museum.
• Duration: about 2 hours
Teacher: Angelika Dłuska
The workshops take place as part of the series “History that strengthens — workshops of creative well-being”.
