The performance is based on a play by Julia Holewińska, the winner of the Gdynia Dramaturgy Prize and the Young Poland program, a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture, written for the special order of the WTL. SOCKS AND PAPILOTS is Holewińska's first art directed at children.
A big change is brewing in the fox family. Mom no longer wants to deal exclusively with the house and decides to go back to work. Will the household cope with the new situation?
After several spectacular, albeit harmless domestic disasters, they finally succeed. By the way, everyone learns that the division of responsibilities not only allows them to pursue their passions, but also allows them to devote more time to playing together.
The performance touches on “adult” topics (feminism, equality) in an accessible and funny way, taking up with the youngest viewers an important conversation about the surrounding reality.Description of the play in simple textThe performance tells about the fox family.
