The touring festival, which was created and developed exclusively as a result of grassroots initiatives, in 2026 will visit more than forty towns throughout Poland — including Tarnowskie Góry. The partners of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights — co-organizers of the touring festival in individual cities — select films from the repertoire of the last edition of the Warsaw IFF WATCH DOCS.

The documentary by Martyna Wojciechowska and Jowita Baraniecka is a well-documented journalistic investigation into a case that arouses great emotions. The film takes us on a journey to Georgia, where the demons of the post-Soviet past are still alive. The heroine is an investigative journalist, Tamuna Museridze, who is trying to unravel a very personal secret. Tracking the widespread trafficking of children in the 1990s, who from Georgian maternity hospitals often ended up on the other side of the world, the reporter reveals the mechanisms and connections, uncovers secrets hidden for years and family dramas that are still equally painful. The scale of this phenomenon is shocking, as up to 100,000 children have been stolen from hospitals and sold. Among them are Amy and Ano, separated after the birth of their twins, who found each other thanks to social media. Thanks to the dedication, Museridze manages to reunite the siblings and return their missing children to their parents. There is no shortage of real emotions in this film: meetings after years, lies, shocks and difficult emotions. But there is also warmth and love, joy and hope. Like in the family.
