Writing Workshop for Adults: Writing Family History in NovelFormPerhaps your maternal grandfather was in the Resistance. Maybe your mom was red-stocking. Or maybe your great-grandparents lived an ordinary life in Albertslund — and that's just as interesting.
Writing your family's story is one of the most beautiful and difficult tasks you can undertake. At the workshop, Johanne Mygind gives her best tools for turning family history into living literature — and for navigating what can hurt along the way.
The writing workshop is hosted by Johanne MygindJohanne Mygind has written the novels “The Year of Love” and “Toxic”, both of which are based on her own family's past.
Practical InfoWriting Workshop takes place in the library room at Nørrebro LibraryParticipation is free, but requires registration here at Billetto. You must bring what you need for the writing exercises yourself. There will probably be cinema setup of chairs, so you have to sit with computer/tablet/paper in your lap. If you want to use electronics, you need to take into account that it is not possible to charge along the way during the course. It can therefore be advantageous to choose paper and pen for the writing exercises.Do you have questions? Write to librarian Pia by mail: piolss@kk.dk
