Writing Workshop for Adults: Writing Bodily When writing, not only does one use one's head, we also all write from one body. And the text gets its own body. In this workshop, we will explore the connections between the body and writing via simple exercises.

The writing workshop is hosted by Anna RiederAnna Rieder is a writer and graduated from the Writers' School in 2019.
There is a flood of plants and colours and animals in Anna Rieder's sensuous poems about mental illness and love, from her debut “Hindebæger” (2020) to the dementia book “Hvor är du på Frederiksberg” (The book is not available in Copenhagen libraries, but can be ordered at bibliotek .dk). Together with psychiatrist Birgit Bundesen, she published “Sore heart” in 2023.
As an avowed tenderness activist, Rieder has made pamphlets for psychiatry to make room for more poetry in the clinical language, and she regards tenderness as political action, art as resistance.

Practical InfoWriting Workshop takes place in the library room at Nørrebro LibraryParticipation is free, but requires registration at Billetto. You must bring what you need for the writing exercises yourself. There will probably be cinema setup of chairs, so you have to sit with computer/tablet/paper in your lap. If you want to use electronics, you need to take into account that it is not possible to charge along the way during the course. It can therefore be advantageous to choose paper and pen for the writing exercises.
