About the event

About WorkshopPender are poems that make us look up from the book page and into the air in a completely new way. Paffe. There are poems that protest, and poems that wonder. Poems that make us remember. Poems you can walk around in, like those houses were. Poems so dizzyingly easy that you get younger by reading them. Poems that find new places in the language and create space so that we can better be here. Poems that brush off the language and the senses.

Poetry can be an incredible number of things — and can be present in all forms of writing, whether it be short prose, lyrics, memoirs, drama, letters, reports, emails or text messages.

The writing workshop “Language, Sense & Language Sense” is for those who want to experiment and play with the language — no matter what genre you otherwise work with or interest in.

Together we will examine what can be done with poetry — and what the poetic is. There will be writing exercises with various forms of automatic writing, improvisation and various poetic forms that will hopefully make you smarter about your own voice.

And poetry can be a beautiful way to be together. So we do it jointly.
