destiny

With DESTINY, Exit Stage connects new drama and new compositional music in an immersive Virtual Reality experience.

Through VR glasses, the viewer follows a mother (Sofie Gråbøl) walking around her empty house. Here she remembers and longs for her son who has died in a coming war. As she prays to God as well as the devil to get her son back, she reels up the memory of him. In her splintered, grief-stricken account, we hear about the life of her son; a young man fighting for a better world through well-meaning activism. But as the geopolitical state of the world shifts, he goes to war for European values and falls.

Now he haunts his mother in the empty house. Has she really got her son back?
