From her groundbreaking namesake mixtape of 2019, to her debut album “Troubled Paradise” (2021), to 2023's “STARFUCKER,” Slayyyter has proven herself to be one of the most unpredictable and versatile figures in modern pop. The artist freely processes the aesthetics of the past, present and future of the genre, subordinating it to her own vision.
Early successes — including the viral single “Daddy AF”, which went from an online hit to the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning best picture “Anora” — earned her recognition from major music media such as Billboard, Paper, Variety, Rolling Stone and Pitchfork. Slayyyter has also performed as a support alongside artists who have previously inspired her, including Tove Lo and Kesha.
Despite her growing popularity, however, the artist decided that something was still missing in her music. So she decided to fully embrace what she says she was from the start: “the worst girl in America.”
Slayyyter's third album is her most personal project and at the same time a work with the most fully outlined artistic vision. The artist again drew on the experiences of growing up in St. Louis and created the music she describes as “iPod music” — an unbridled mix of wild punk, degraded pop and sassy rap, inspired by the colorful characters of her youth.
Released in 2025 singles “BEAT UP CHANEL$”, “CANNIBALISM!” and “CRANK” gradually built tension around the project, and fans enthusiastically embraced the new, raw and confident version of the artist.
The album “WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA” will be released on Friday, March 27, 2026.
Slayyyter has partnered with PLUS1 — from each ticket sold, 1 dollar/1 pound/1 euro will be donated to local organizations in the cities of the tour, supporting health, well-being and empowerment of the LGBTQI+ community.
The WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD tour will begin on September 3 in Vancouver, will include Toronto, Houston, Nashville, São Paulo and Paris, and will end on November 5 at the London Roundhouse. Performances in North America and the UK will be opened by the production pop duo Pearly Drops.
