Snail

There was a snail. With a shell such... A snail, like all other snails With a small difference: for he alone wished to lend us his story...

There lived that Snail — very happy in its slimy little shell...

As if not to say — no wonder he was so happy in his shell: That's why the Snail has a shell on his back, to be happiest in it, in the world!

If one wants to oppose nature, he will no longer be happy...

The main character — the Snail, whether out of kindness or good upbringing, is not able to refuse clearly enough to others. She lets herself be persuaded by an intrusive real estate agent — Bobrzyca, to change her house — shell for another. Unfortunately, it quickly turns out that he is uncomfortable and uncomfortable everywhere except her... A story about the importance of recognizing one's own nature, living in harmony with oneself, and also about how much assertiveness counts in finding one's own private oasis of peace. Because there can always be someone next to us who wants to persuade us to make changes that do not necessarily have to harmonize with our interior... although from the outside they may seem attractive or even fashionable.

The play takes part in the 29th National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art.
