“The spectacle — a can of canned food. Spectacle — freezer. It slows down aging, slows down the disappearance...”

About the event

Performance of the independent theater GAS As part of the IV season of the Ukrainian Stage

“The spectacle — a can of canned food. Spectacle — freezer. It slows down aging, slows down the disappearance...”

The village of Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region has only eight streets. If the trees growing next to them could speak, they would tell about the more than three hundred years of history of this place; about the daily rhythm of mornings and evenings; about the Russian offensive and occupation; about the total destruction. However, since our hearing is not properly tuned, the stories of Kyslivka must be told by people.

Sofiia Onishchenko, director and playwright of the play

The documentary and performative monodrama “Sweet and Sour” directed by Sofia Onishchenko and Daria Bogdan uses the tools of devised theater and physical theater. It is based on interviews with residents of Kyslivka, who, after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, became asylum seekers in Ukraine and beyond.

“Vistava — a can bank. Vistava — hellebore. Agree with the old, agree on the situation...”

In the village of Kislivka there are all streets of the Kharkiv region. Yakby could talk to them, because they were raised above the three-way business of every man; pro vigilante rank and evening; pro Russian intervention and occupation; pro total awareness Nennia. Although our hearing is not imposed by an urgent task, the affairs of Kislivka can make people happy.

Sofia Onishchenko, director and screenwriter Vistavi

The documentary and performance monologue “Oxygen Solodky” directed by Sofia Onishchenko and Darʼi Bogdan uses the instruments of the devised theater and physical theater. At its core, among its interjections, Kislivka, which began a large-scale Russian second war, became a fighter (k) and an addition to Ukraine and a position between them.
