art based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen
Hans Christian Andersen in his story about the Nightingale and the Emperor of China provokes questions about the nature of wealth. It confronts material wealth and power with the experience of beauty and spiritual wealth. The eponymous Nightingale is famous for its unique singing, which is characterized by the fact that it never repeats a melody sung once. His songs are constantly changing and each time rekindling the hearts of listeners.
Robert Jarosz's art takes original Andersen themes and places them in the contemporary close perception of the young audience. It provides viewers with the opportunity to experience the journey through the structure of a fairy tale with the baggage of their own, current experiences. The universal questions, collided with the patterns of behavior well known today, prompt us to ask questions about the nature of what motivates us and from which we derive vital joy.
The staging of the play refers to both the culture of China and modern Europe. A show of a family nature.
