Slavic/Legend of Paganini

LEGEND OF PAGANINI - Stanisław Słowiński and InfraArt Orchestra in the latest installment

Without Paganini, the world would not have known the virtuoso side of the violin. It was the mysterious artist from Genoa who introduced them to the great concert halls, instilled an irreversible fashion for this instrument, and with his quackery technique captivated crowds throughout Europe at that time. Stanisław Słowiński takes up such a high suspended bar in extremely personal arrangements of the master's music.

Niccolò Paganini was not only a legend of eighteenth-century Europe: he was an event, an individual, a synonym for stage extravagance. From his concert diary we learn about his relations with contemporary violinists; about the presence of the young Chopin at his concert in the Warsaw cathedral, about his financial contributions and successes. We find valuable clues to unravel the mystery of his ghostly stage appearance, his rare parting with glasses with tinted glasses or his close relationship with the son he raised alone. Paganini-Legenda really existed, which is what this concert is about.

The premiere of the CD album will take place during a gala concert at the National Philharmonic already in June 2026!
