THE SERVANT OF THE LADY (LA SERVA PADRONA)

An entertaining story and expressive characters, whose character is brilliantly conveyed by the musical layer and text of the signature arias. Such is “The Servant of the Lady” (“La serva padrona”) - the famous work of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, which in the Baroque unleashed a stormy discussion about whether high art should make you laugh. In our opinion, opera can not only entertain, but also invite the viewer into the action of the performance. That is why “Servant of the Lady” directed by Jerzy Jan Połoński is an innovative performance in the formula of an immersive performance - the instrumental ensemble of the Opera Nova Orchestra will sit in the audience, and the audience will be in the middle of the action, to have the opportunity to interact with the performing artists and the environment. From such a meeting with the opera positive impressions guaranteed! We invite both young in body and young in spirit.
