“self-discovery” — curatorial tours with the participation of artistic persons

BWA Katowice invites you to take a tour of the exhibition “self-opening”. During the event, the curator, Jessica Kufa, and some of the artists participating in the presentation, will talk about the details of the creation of paintings and the curatorial concept behind “self-opening”. The exhibition is included in the program of the “Aesthetic Congress”, so an important part of the tour will be a story about the institution itself. The topics of self-fiction in painting and the subversive potential of therapeutic language will also be touched upon.

Jessica Kufa — Doctor of Humanities, cultural researcher and art historian. He works at the intersection of contemporary art, animation and cultural anthropology.
