A CROSS-AESTHETIC PERFORMANCE SERIES AT NØRREBRO THEATRE
Nørrebro Teater, inter.pblc and Brodie are proud to present the second edition of SOCKS & STILETTOS.
SOCKS & STILETTOS is an experimental performance series that invites at each edition a new group of selected artists or artist groups working across different genres and artistic expressions. With the theatre stage as a platform for artists, the ambition with SOCKS & STILETTOS is to create a new understanding of the stage as a space for movement and fusion of artistic practices.
The format crosses visual arts, music, sound, performance, video and choreography, and presents both Danish and international artists. Jointly, a scenic narrative is developed, as a constructed, surreal and extraordinary performance curated by inter.pblc and Brodie.
The performance lasts approximately 60 minutes and is a recurring format at Nørrebro Teater.
The second edition of SOCKS & STILETTOS brings together three curated artist duos and groups: Haloplus+, Maji Claire & Alectra Rothschild/MASCULINA and Heva Vaupel & Camilla Lind.
Haloplus+ is a trio consisting of lead singers, producers and independent artists from Copenhagen. The group consists of Isa Nam Sook (Ryong), Scrooge Wei Bernild (Angel Wei, First Hate) and Stine Victoria. All three solo artists with backgrounds in songwriting, DJ'ing, visual arts, performance and events.
Although they have released only one EP and a handful of singles, the group has already made a mark both locally and internationally. Haloplus+ has toured Japan (2023) and Korea (2023), played at Roskilde Festival (2024) and headlined various Copenhagen venues, including Hotel Cecil (2024), Mayhem (2023) and ALICE (2025). The trio is also behind the event series Moodkiller, where together with friends they invite both Danish and international artists and musicians into a creative dialogue. On 19 September 2025, the group released their album Musicality on the Danish record label Eshoo.
Maji Claire is a self-proclaimed multidimensional showgirl who works across film, sound, movement and choreography based in Copenhagen. Her artistic practice is driven by curiosity and play. With an extensive and versatile background both in front of the camera, behind the camera and on stage, she works with a holistic and broad perspective on performance and art.
Maji Claire starred in the fiction series Bad Bitch (2022) and in the DRs Orchestra (2022). Claire has several years of experience as a dancer for musicians such as Christine and the Queens (2020), Robyn (2018) and Neneh Cherry (2019) as well as a dancer and choreographer for FKA twigs (2022).
Alectra Rothschild/MASCULINA is a fashion designer, artist and image-maker based in Copenhagen, where she lives and works. She has a background in tailoring, a bachelor's degree from Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm and a shared master's degree in Fashion from Central Saint Martins in London and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Rothschild has experience from Iris Van Herpen (NL), Anne Sofie Madsen (DK) and Mugler (FR) before she founded her own brand, MASCULINA, in 2023. MASCULINA has held performative fashion shows during Copenhagen Fashion Week for the past three years.
Rothschild's practice is at the intersection of craft, performance, identity-driven design, and counterculture. Her focus is on trans and femme identities, while insisting on challenging the status quo and pointing to alternative perspectives. Rothschild wants to highlight that femininity embraces far more people than traditional understandings have so far given way to.
Heva Vaupel works artistically across metal and electronic music. Vaupel lives and works in Copenhagen. Her latest EP, Yearner Music (2026), brings black metal into a contemporary electronic setting, creating a sound that is both confrontational and emotionally charged. Blastbeats, distorted tremologuitars and deep subbass are intertwined in dense, intense compositions where themes such as love and longing are fused.
Heva Vaupel has since 2016 been associated with the Copenhagen-based experimental record label Janus, where under several aliases, including O and Vaupel, she has released an extensive catalogue of ambient- and noise-based cassettes. Her solo works have been presented at Mayhem (2023), Norbergfestival in Sweden (2026) and O Days in Copenhagen (2026).
Camilla Lind is a choreographer and interdisciplinary artist based in Copenhagen. Her work takes as its starting point the body as a psychophysical and collective dimension. Drawing from the perspective of the feminine “other” and the economics of sexuality during late capitalism, she stages punk against the dreamy, creating an ambiguous and intimate space where expectations are disrupted and new meanings can emerge. Her practice spans performance, visual arts, text, textiles, sculpture and music.
Lind graduated from The Danish School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen, specializing in dance and choreography (2019). Since 2020, she has been a member of the artist-run studio Dance Coop, and since 2021 she has been part of the music and performance duo Lovers Revenge. Her works have most recently been shown at Copenhagen art institutions such as Den Frie (2024), Copenhagen Contemporary (2024) and Fabrik for Kunst & Design (2023). She has also participated in Toaster Biennale (2026) and Christiania Biennale (2025) as well as performed in music and club contexts such as Distortion (2023), Mayhem (2024) and Rewild (2026) in Copenhagen, as well as Insomnia Trömsø (2025).
inter.pblc is an experimental exhibition venue for contemporary art where local and international artists are invited to develop their practices. inter.pblc is driven by a spatial desire for social practices and shared experiences, expressed through curated exhibitions, performances and installation-based projects.
The place accommodates different forms of artistic expression and is constantly being redefined by the forces that enter the space. inter.pblc does not refrain from merging different scenes or artistic spheres, but serves as a space where competences and ideas can arise and meet without being tied to one industry or one specific denomination.
inter.pblc is curated and run by Kristian Kirk (1993) and Johannes Jacobsen (1992) and was founded in 2021.
inter.pblc is located at Hamletsgade 6, st. 2, 2200 Copenhagen.
Brodie is an independent, non-commercial music platform that creates intimate live experiences and cultural content featuring local and international artists. Based in music, art and architecture, they bring artists and different disciplines together in unexpected locations and formats.
In a digital culture that moves with speed, Brodie turns down the pace and creates moments that spark new dialogues, meanings and emotions. Brodie is an invitation to artists and audiences to remain curious.
