Son Lux

Son Lux usually try to fundamentally question general ideas about how music is created in the first place, and also often develop their very own approaches from scratch. In doing so, the band cultivates a musical language that is always characterized by absolute curiosity and balances contrasts.

In the past two decades, the band has released numerous, sometimes very different recordings, which are characterized by raw emotional intimacy and at the same time carefully constructed electronic soundscapes. Son Lux are also a real force live: full of dynamism, these three great musicians always develop very powerful moments in their concerts.

In addition to their normal studio albums, the band also composed the music for the A24 film Everything Everywhere All at Once, which won the Oscar for Best Film in 2023 in addition to many other awards. For their film music, they were also nominated for two Academy Awards and a BAFTA. After that, Son Lux also wrote the score for Thunderbolts* (from Marvel Studios) and for the upcoming movie Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother.

Son Lux will release their ninth studio album Out Into in autumn and then go on a world tour.
