SONGSLAM NEUKÖLLN

Nothing in the air but hands, melody and rhythm. Sounds, hot breath, loudspeakers and spotlights, that's what a song slam feels like. Six singers/songwriters face your verdict, you reward them with your applause.

Anything is possible on these evenings: chanson, acoustic punk, music cabaret or bluegrass flamenco indiecore. Hundred and twenty minutes of bidding competition with handmade music and genuine feelings in the main hall of the home port. It's about cheers, fame, honor, schnapps and a bag of pharyngeal gold. The principles are: No bands, no show dancers, no covers and certainly no plastic. The biggest song slam in the country is hosted by the two Berlin slam and reading stage authors Tilman Birr and Piet Weber.

Save the date: After five rounds this year, the grand final of the year is imminent on 10.12.2026: At the 6th song slam, the winners of the preliminary rounds will meet and fight a unique duel. You decide live in the auditorium who takes home the song Songslamwinner 2026.
