Venue: Mobile - A summer between prefabricated buildings. Heat, boredom, violence. Too little money, too little space in the family. And school too from time to time. 16-year-old Lukas is entangled in a conflict between dealer groups. Does the cleverer give in? Or does the wiser follow suit? Both seem bad options. Sanchez, the new classmate, has a brilliant idea and in a dizzying moment, Lukas and his friends decide to steal the brand-new computers that the Senate has donated to his “problem school” - without the boys having finished thinking about how they could actually be inconspicuously turned into money. A fast-paced race against all odds begins.
Felix Lobrecht's autobiographically inspired novel tells at the same time humorously, drastically and movingly about growing up in Berlin-Gropiusstadt. DT Jung* brings sun and concrete to all of Berlin in a mobile premiere: to classrooms in various districts, but also to the youth center, soccer club or club canteen. The performance will be rounded off with a follow-up discussion on site.
