SOUNDEDIT '26 — SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY. The Big Eighteen.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY. The Big Eighteen. Three performers. Three reasons not to miss this Sunday. LECH JANERKA Composer. Bass player. Author of lyrics that changed Polish rock forever. It appears infrequently. Always on your own terms. In 1979 he founded Klaus Mitffoch — one album from 1984 was enough to change Polish music forever. Then he set off on his own. “Underwater History”, “Bruhaha”, “Plagiarism” awarded with Fryderyk awards. In 2023, he returned with the “Plaster Casting of Forgery”. Still sharp. Still uncompromising. In 2014, the festival honored him with the Man with the Golden Ear award. On October 25, he will play for the last time in Łódź. HUGH CORNWELL Guitarist. Vocalist. Voice and guitar of The Stranglers. Golden Brown. Always The Sun. No More Heroes. Strange Little Girl. 10 albums that defined punk rock. Since 1990 he has been going his own way — 10 original albums, constant experiments, constant searches. Łódź, 1986. ŁKS Stadium. Playback. A few minutes of pretending to be on TV. It's time to fix this mistake. On October 25, 2026 Cornwell will play in Łódź as it should. Truly. No compromises. DESERTER Four decades. Zero compromises. They are celebrating their 45th anniversary. They started out as the SS-20 — the name of the ballistic missile defined intentions from the very start. Renamed Deserter in 1982. Censorship, Maximum Rock'n'Roll, Dead Kennedys. Robert Matera, Krzysztof Grabowski, Jacek Chrzanowski. Forty-five years. The same message. The same honesty. “Free Range” — a new album from February 2026 — hit the top of the sales charts. This is not nostalgia. It is still a living legend. In Łódź only once, only on Soundedit.
