Soundscape set | Marcin Dymiter

We invite you to a unique event in the Neukölln exhibition space. Olive oil. Sonic Portrait/Sonic Portrait. The Soundscape set is a sound “reading” of the city, its architecture, and a polemic with the idea of entertaining live sets played in public spaces. Referring to the cultural formulation of the dj set and the sound system, the soundscape set evokes the category of sounds “absent” in space. Each soundscape set is unique, specially prepared and substantively related to the environment, architecture and given situation.

Marcin Dymiter works in the field of electronic music, field recording and improvised music. He creates sound installations, radio plays, music for films and theatrical performances, as well as carries out exhibitions and projects in public spaces. Author of the books Notes from the Field (2021) and Machines for Silence (2023). Independent Sound Art Curator. Member of the Polish Electroacoustic Music Association.
